Blauwdruk Psychosezorg (“Blueprint for Good Psychosis Care”) was created by PsychoseNet vzw, a Belgian non-profit dedicated to mental health and psychosis care.
The initiative aimed to establish a new, independent identity — a professional, research-based brand that would stand for innovation and compassion within mental healthcare.
Blauwdruk represents more than a logo: it’s a movement toward better psychosis care, built on science, collaboration, and empathy.
Mental healthcare in Belgium needed a fresh, credible voice — one that professionals and patients alike could trust.
The new identity had to balance scientific authority with warm humanity, reflecting the project’s roots in evidence-based research and its mission to reduce stigma around psychosis.
Blauwdruk speaks with authority grounded in research, but always with empathy. It combines data and compassion — showing that good care starts with both knowledge and heart.
Every element is designed with precision and order, yet never feels cold. The structure represents reliability; the warmth ensures human connection.
The tone inspires confidence and respect while remaining approachable. It reflects experts who understand not just the science of care, but the people behind it.
Blauwdruk acknowledges the challenges within mental healthcare while emphasizing progress and hope. It encourages trust in change through action, not empty optimism.
The name Blauwdruk means blueprint — the foundation for building something new.
The logo visualizes this idea through the letter “P”, constructed from pencils, rulers, and structural lines, symbolizing both precision and creation. It represents the blueprint for a better mental healthcare system — measured, built with care, and designed with purpose.
The color palette uses deep blue as a symbol of trust and clarity, supported by calm neutrals and contrasting black for academic strength.
The typography combines Arial Nova (clean and authoritative) with Garet (modern and approachable), striking a balance between science and empathy.
The result was a cohesive and meaningful identity that resonated immediately. The client described it as “exactly what we had envisioned — a professional and hopeful brand that people can trust.”
The branding was rolled out across digital platforms and print materials, forming the foundation for brochures, reports, and online presence.
Mostly branding, UX/UI design, and visual identity work — from early-stage startups to established brands ready to refine or relaunch.
